Costa Paradiso

Costa Paradiso, located about 30 minutes drive away from Muntiggioni, is a charming vacation resort village.

In this area, Sardinia reveals its romantic and enchanting soul. It’s worth the visit to explore some wonderfully secluded places to relax like Spiaggia Li Baietti.

While you’re there it’s also worth visiting a Trattoria Del Mare da Lino.

Cantina Li Seddi

If you’re looking for that one special red wine from Sardinia, then ‘Maistrali’ Cannonau di Sardegna from Cantina Li Seddi should be on your shortlist. It’s our personal favourite and it’s something truly special. Their shop is located in the Badesi town centre.

Cantina Li Duni

If you’re a wine lover, make sure to visit the Li Duni winery who produce some of the finest wines in north Sardinia. Follow their Facebook page for up-to-date information about wine tasting events. Their porch has sea views and they even organise wine tasting mixed with star-gazing for those late-evening visitors.

Badesi

Located only a few minutes drive away from Muntiggioni, Badesi is the biggest village in the area. In Badesi you will find several of our favourite places, such as Superconcas Market, MD Market, Li Seddi Winery, Gelatomania Cafe, Gastronomia La Genuina Take Away, Hollywood Pizzeria and more.

In Badesi you will also find a bank with an ATM Cash machine, a petrol station and a local church.

It’s located only a short drive from beautiful Li Junchi beach.

ASD Sport Point

School, rental and storage for kitesurf, windsurf, SUP, surf, wakeboard. Offering Taxi boat service to the other side of the lagoon 🙂

Aquafantasy

Aquapark Aquafantasy Sardegna with fantastic panoramic views of the sea.

It’s a great spot for a family day even with smaller kids – it’s a child-friendly park. They offer several areas equipped with slides where the maximum height of the water is 50 cm.

Castelsardo

This charming, historic town is located about 20 minute drive from Muntiggioni.

It’s considered one of the 100 most beautiful Italian villages. Featuring many pathways, this is a truly wonderful place to explore on foot while the castle, Castello dei Doria, is arguably the main highlight.

Castelsardo is an important commercial centre for craftsmanship and is particularly famed for its basket weaving industry. There is even a museum dedicated to this tradition, the Museo dell’Intreccio Mediterraneo, which is right at the heart of Castello dei Doria.

We especially recommend visiting Castelsardo in the late afternoon to view the sunset from the terrace of the Cathedral of Saint Anthony Abbott.

In town will find many restaurants, bars, craftsman and souvenir shops. Some of our favourites include Le Cisterne Restaurant and The View Bar Lounge.

Ristorante Pizzeria Da Giada (Hollywood Pizza)

This is our number #1 choice when it comes to quick pizza and pasta. During lunchtime, we usually make an order on the way back from the beach to the apartments and after 5 – 10 minutes, freshly made pizzas are ready for pick-up.

It’s also a pleasant place to sit down on the terrace and watch Badesi life. Make sure to try Muntiggioni pizza with… french fries! Our true favourites are: Pizza Sarda (with Sardinian sausage) and Pizza Marinara with extra Peperoncino oil (no cheese, just tomato sauce and spicy!).

Gallura Lounge & Bar

Gallura Lounge & Bar is one of the top Sardinian destinations for all meat lovers and it’s a 5-minutes walking distance from Beach Base apartments!

They serve various types and cuts of beef, freshly grilled on a large BBQ. For those who don’t eat meat, there is a range of grilled vegetables and perfect potatoes and salads. There is a big terrace for dining al-fresco. This is our personal favourite, due to proximity and superb food quality.
